As a result of Bill 2, the Back to School Act (2025), the central terms for all public, Catholic, and francophone teachers have now been enacted into law. The legislation “settles” all central and local terms for bargaining units where the Public Education Collective Bargaining Act (PECBA) applies. Teacher Welfare Committees have been provided with a structure and process to address local concerns that may be included in the 2024–28 Legislatively Imposed Settlement (LIS), subject to mutual agreement between the parties.
Work is underway to incorporate the legislatively imposed central terms into the currently frozen local terms, forming the LIS for each bargaining unit. Please note: the documents are legal agreements, and therefore members will see the historical term “Collective Agreement” used in all documents in the LIS drop-down.
Until the 2024-28 LISs are complete, members can reference the terms and conditions of their LIS agreements, the 2020–24 Collective Agreements, and the approved salary grid below.
Amalgamations will be posted for each local as they are completed.
