Due to severe flooding in July, Barnett House will remain closed until early 2027.

Wearing an orange shirt on Sept. 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, has become a way to signal support for and remembrance of what Indigenous families lost because of residential schools. This day is also an opportunity for teachers to both deepen and apply their own foundational knowledge of First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures, while learning about and honouring Indigenous history and cultural practices.
Teachers can access resources now and throughout the year to support their learning journey.
