Stars of the ATA Local Showcase

Grey haired women clapping

As an active member of your local, you work hard every year to inspire your colleagues and the community. The work you do on creative and innovative projects and initiatives helps advance and support public education in Alberta.

Locals can access several ATA grants for financial assistance to help make their project a success.

The ATA wants to highlight your endeavors in the Stars of the ATA Local Showcase Program, which will feature the work of our locals in the following areas:

  1. Diversity, equity and human rights
  2. Indigenous education and reconciliation
  3. Public relations
  4. Political engagement
  5. Other engagement initiatives

Think of this noncompetitive program as a brag board of sorts. You send us a brief description of your project, including photos and videos, and we will feature your work in a showcase at Summer Conference, on social media, as well as at other ATA events throughout the year.
