It’s better here?

Over the past five years, Alberta’s wages have grown more slowly than anywhere else in Canada.

Alberta’s previous 17% wage advantage over the rest of Canada has dropped to just 3% in 2023, with British Columbia now surpassing Alberta.

It’s better here?

From 2022 to 2023, Alberta’s budget surpluses skyrocketed from $3.9B to $11.6B—a $7.7B increase in just one year.

Yet, education remains under funded.

💡 Investing just $1.55B would bring Alberta’s per-student funding up to the national average. We can more than afford it—it’s time to make it happen.

It’s better here?

Alberta’s classrooms are overcrowded and more complex than ever—with growing class sizes and increasing student diversity.

But resources haven’t kept up. Larger classes + fewer supports = a system in crisis. It’s time to invest in our schools.

Just $1.55B would bring per-student funding to the national average.

The investment is small. The impact is huge. All we're missing is the will to invest. Stop the excuses.
