Junior Technical Solutions Analyst
Permanent Full-Time Position

Reporting to Team Lead, Solutions Architecture, the Junior Technical Solutions Analyst works in a team to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and web-based solutions to meet the business needs of the Association and its’ members. Specific responsibilities include:
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the ATA’s cloud infrastructure including Azure, M365, Dynamics 365, Teams, and SharePoint Online environments
- Assist in the ongoing development of a service architecture to support the interoperability between the Association’s cloud, on-premises, and 3rd party systems
- Expand reporting/analytics capabilities by creating or enhancing reports (such as Power BI, Excel, SSRS) and report data sources
- Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards and communicate these to key stakeholders to support business goals and initiatives
- Use the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Teams and related technologies to modernize and automate Association business processes and workflows
- Configure and manage Azure data and related infrastructure
- Support the migration of on-premises data assets to the cloud; and
- Use SQL Server and Azure SQL to monitor and optimize the performance of database instances
Qualifications
Formal educational requirements
- Certificate or diploma in computing technology or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is an asset.
- Being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and having cloud-related certification are assets.
Software experience in one or more of the following:
- Knowledge of Microsoft cloud Infrastructure stack including Azure, M365, Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Online
- Experience managing and supporting database environments hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Experience building/configuring Azure infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS)
- Experience configuring / maintaining SharePoint environments (on-prem and/or online)
- Experience using the Power Platform
Familiarity with Microsoft development tools
- SQL Server and Power BI security features and how to administer them
- Microsoft BI Stack
Ability to
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet project timelines
- Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Salary: This position offers a competitive starting salary of $68,780 to a maximum of $86,698 depending on experience, plus a full range of employer-paid benefits.
Hours of Work: 35hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Work Location: Barnett House (11010 142 Street NW), Edmonton.
